Share the Legacy - Protect the Lake

The objectives of the Tims Ford Council are to promote and protect the quality of Tims Ford Lake and its shoreline, to provide a forum for discussion, education, and appropriate action concerning lake issues and activities. Tims Ford Lake is on the Elk River in south central Tennessee. It extends 34 miles upstream to the northeast from Tims Ford Dam. The lake's sprawling arms of water are popular with boaters, canoeists, kayakers and anglers.

For more family fun there is an abundance of camping, hiking and educational opportunities at Tims Ford State Park. Dry Creek Beach Park is located on Lynchburg Road in Winchester and is free to the public.
